The Vatican Indulges In Yet More Hypocritical Bullying

Pope Benedict XVI said that saving humanity from homosexual or transsexual behaviour was as important as protecting the environment.

The comments were "irresponsible and unacceptable", the UK's Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement (LGCM) said.

Alan Titchmarsh, a TV celebrity gardener called the remarks "An outrage to Geraniums".

Vladimir Luxuria, a transgender former Italian MP, called his words "hurtful".

Defending God's creation was not limited to saving the environment, the Pope said, but also about protecting man from himself.

The man who thinks that a woman is a young boy made the comments in an end-of-year speech to senior Vatican staff.

It was not "out-of-date metaphysics" to "speak of human nature as 'man', woman or sexy little boy ", he said. It came from the "language of creation, despising which would mean self-destruction for humans".

Gender theories, he said, led to man's "auto-emancipation" from creation and Creator. God may have been stupid enough to give out free will but he also put me here to tell you what to do and think

"Rain forests deserve, yes, our protection but the human being... does not deserve it less," he said.

LGCM head Rev Sharon Ferguson said the Pope's remarks justified "gay bashing" and bullying.

Mark Dowd, strategist for Christian environmental group Operation Noah, said the comments betrayed "a lack of openness to the complexity of creation".

Derek Munn of the UK based gay rights group Stonewall criticises Pope Benedict XVI's comments

And Ms Luxuria, who recently lost her seat in the Italian parliament, said suggesting people like her were destructive was very hurtful.

"I'm someone who was born as male and has a spiritual and female soul, and it's contradictory that a Pope just thinks of people just made as flesh and not made of a spiritual aspect."

The Catholic Church opposes gay marriage. It teaches that while homosexuality is not sinful, homosexual acts are.

Earlier this month, the Vatican said that a proposed United Nations resolution decriminalising homosexuality went too far.

"Unjust discrimination" against gay people should be avoided, but the use of wording such as "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" in the text would "create serious uncertainty in the law", it said

OBB puts out this question to the obviously insane former Nazi Pope Benedict XVI. If homosexual or transsexuals who have never hurt another living person are dangerous to humanity and just as important as a tree then where does heterosexual people like Ted Bundy or Fred West or celibate pedophiles like priests fit in?

OBB News shall await the Pope's response or threatened legal action as they have previously responded with to this News Blog with glee.

Catchy Tune To Catch New Souls

Yet another PR stunt from the failing Catholic church. To take people's minds of the strict outdated dogma that decides divorcees are worse than murderers.
The numerous worldwide pedophilia charges and subsequent cover ups.

Now three Catholic priests from Northern Ireland are getting ready to take the music world by storm after signing a £1m record deal.

Father Eugene O'Hagen, 48, his brother Martin, 45, and David Delargy, 44, all have parishes in the diocese of Down and Connor.

Known as The Priests which says it all really , signed the deal with music giant Sony BMG at London's Westminster Cathedral.

Any money the priests make from the group will be given to charity. I bet its not a Protestant charity.

The group have a special exemption in their contract, which allows them to break off from promotional duties to deal with parish work such as presiding over funerals and teaching children the love of God.

Fr Eugene said that what had happened may be "God's design".

He said that the money that the priests make will go to various charities but "we haven't decided which I like children's charities myself I'm always one to give a child a hand".

"There is a real feeling of excitement and apprehension," he said. Fr Martin said that it was important that the record deal still allowed the men to carry out their parish duties.

"Our work means a great deal to us it beats real jobs," he said.

"We are priests first and foremost just thinking about my work gets me up in the mornings. Our work will be at the heart of our plans and the butt of many a joke ."

Fr David added: "Singing is very much what we do.

"This is bringing it to a wider audience. We are singing sacred music, continuing what we have always been doing."

Fr Eugene said the group's musical tastes were influenced by their religion
"We have very Catholic tastes," he said, adding that he liked Death Metal and Speed Metal.

However, Fr David said his musical taste was slightly more eclectic

"My first ever purchase was Snap - Rhythm is a dancer," he said.

The priests all attended The Seminary in Belfast and concluded their training at the Irish College in Rome, before returning to work in Northern Ireland.

Last year, they just happened to be were heard singing by an Irish pop musician who asked them to make a demo which he took to Sony BMG.

Nick Raphael, managing director of Epic Records, part of Sony BMG, negotiated the signing.

"Their voices are incredible," he said. "I think we've found three uncool middle-aged pop stars, perfect for the Irish market.

"They're going to be wonderful global superstars. The reaction has been incredible, throbbing, huge.

"The quality of their singing is quite scary we just need to get them to thrust their crotches more."

The priests' forthcoming record, which they said is as yet un-named, is planned for release around November time.
Some songs to look forward to are: Our Little Secret, On Your Knees For God's Sake , If This Is A Sin Then Why Do I Feel So Good? and Offer It Up.

Lets not forget Father Michael Cleary also known as 'The Singing Priest' who died in 1993 well-known for his devout Catholic views on sex, divorce and abortion.
And his book about maintaining faith in the modern world.

His housekeeper, Phyllis Hamilton, was his live in lover and mother of his child. Well at least he liked women.

One Of Our Priests Is Missing

Sao Paulo, Brazil Searchers scanned the waters off Brazil's southern Atlantic coast for a Roman Catholic priest who disappeared after floating into the sky under hundreds of helium party balloons as they are prone to do.

Rescuers in helicopters and small fishing boats spent a second day seeking signs of the Rev. Adelir Antonio de Carli . He lifted off from the port city of Paranagua, wearing a helmet, thermal suit and a parachute. All that equipment, what ever happened to faith?

After eight hours authorities later saw pieces of balloons floating in the sea off the coast of Santa Catarina state close to where Carli last made contact. It is unclear how this will effect the local wildlife who can be harmed by swallowing deflated balloons.

"We have no reason at this point to believe he is not still alive. He may be floating in the ocean, on some isolated beach or on land somewhere or even beamed aboard a spaceship," said Paulo Eduardo Neves, a commander of one of the fire departments supposed to be searching for Carli.

The priest was trying to break a 19-hour record for the most hours flying with balloons and to force a rapture from God also to fund a spiritual rest stop for truckers in Paranagua, home to Brazil's largest grain port.

Brazilian truckers often spend days waiting to unload in the port, especially during the busy soy export season now under way and a place where they can meet young boys and prostitutes and get all down and spiritual which might be nice for them and lucrative for the church.

Parishioners were maintaining a vigil for Carli, confident that he would be found.

A video of Carli posted on Globo TV's G1 Web site showed the smiling 41-year-old priest slipping into a flight suit and being strapped to a seat attached to a huge cluster of green, red, white and yellow balloons. He then soared into the air to cheers from a crowd.

The priest at one point soared to an altitude of 20,000 feet (6,000 meters). He planned to fly to the city of Dourados, 465 miles (750 kilometers) northwest of his parish, but was blown in another direction. He was located about 30 miles (50 kilometers) off the coast when he last contacted Paranagua's port authority. God it seems had other plans.

Carli reportedly had a GPS device, a satellite phone, a buoyant chair and is an experienced skydiver as most priests are .

Seas were calm in the area where Carli disappeared, and the ocean's temperature was a mild 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit), rescue leader Neves said.

"Depending on his physical fitness and how badly, if at all, he was injured, he could probably survive in the water for at least five days, maybe a bit more," Neves said unrealistically and optimistically.

New Agenda From The Pulpit

Scientists have accused Roman Catholic priests of spreading lies from the pulpit in an attempt to stoke up opposition to animal-human hybrid experiments.

Catholic Bishops' wrote a statement attacking the controversial Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill , warned that the Bill would allow the creation of "half human, half animals" by combining eggs of women with the sperm of animals and that there were enough Protestants already , this was read out to parishioners across the country last week.

It added: "To do this would be a radical violation of human dignity and if anyone is to violate that then it shall be us."

Dr Kyle Armstrong, of Newcastle University, said the church's statement was "a gross and irresponsible misrepresentation of our position and our intentions". Hybrid embryos were designed to provide stem cells to treat human diseases - not to create half-human, half-animals, I thought they believed in virgin births." he said.

He added: "We find their example of combining the egg of a woman with animal sperm even more distasteful and we wish to make it absolutely clear that our work does not involve this. We find it surprising and saddening-that the Catholic Church should resort to such blatant inaccuracy to support its message in these matters it goes to show you the kind of things Catholic priests' think about ."

They would take an animal egg cell, remove the blob in the centre which contains most of the animal's DNA and replace it with the nucleus from a human cell, taken from a donor.

The resulting embryo is 99.9 per cent identical to the human donor although it contains some animal DNA left over from the egg so maybe just the odd claw or hoof then.

The Catholic Church has sent every parish a fun information pack including the one-page briefing document which some priests have read to congregations it contains crosswords and other puzzles and is set out in an easy to understand format much like the abuse-themed colouring book, "Being Friends, Being Safe, Being Catholic," which purports to teach children how to avoid pedophile priests that was handed out last year by the Catholic Church's New York Archdiocese.

Chris Shaw, Professor of Neurology and Neurogenetics, Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, said: "The bishops' statement on hybrids is not a radical violation of human dignity as they claim - it is a radical violation of the truth besides what right do they have to tell animals what they can do with their bodies?"

A spokesman for the church said: "Far from providing misinformation and wild allegations in our parish briefing, all we have done is draw attention to what this Bill actually allows."

"Clause 4 allows licences to be given for the creation of hybrid and "interspecies" embryos, defined in the Bill as "an embryo created by using human gametes and animal gametes". This means half human and half animal before you know it you'll see a half man half dog in the Vatican that would be called God's rottweiler or something daft like that or some semi-celibate human-ass hybrid preaching about birth control."

Arthur Rouke a spokesman for the Man-Boy Love Association , York, Uk, said: "As usual we support the church and will continue to provide financial support so it can get its message across. We share the churches' disgust at these scientists and their modern ideas."

Old Knudsen was on hand to comment: " I can remember the time when the Catholic church killed cats, tortured and burned witches, not big thinkers, they are more accepting of a murderer or say a pedophile than a divorcee. They have become afraid of anything they cannot control or stifle, and as you do when you are afraid of something, you try to either bully, kill it or both ."

What Do You Do On Your Day Off ?

Twelve Catholic priests have swapped their altar boys and flagellating to be pictured for a calendar designed to recruit young men to the priesthood. Activities, include reading celebrity magazines, watching baseball and DIY, riveting stuff, everything a young man wants?

Each featured priest also talks about what inspired them to join the church and say what they believe they would be doing if they were not a priest.

October priest Father Matthew Hardon, of St Rustin's in Bakefield, says his childhood dream was to be an astronaut and hopes someday to take a group of young boys to Huntsville, Alabama for a 13 day course at Space camp.

Father Simon Lodgecomplaint , of Middolten Grange, Yukley, had the idea for the calendar and reveals in November: "If I weren't a priest I'd be up to no good. Or at least more than I am already!" Which may be a reference to the pedophile and money extortion charges he has been accused of .

Father January is Pat Balls, of Christ the King up the Rimley, who is pictured dressed in a New York Yankees baseball top and cap and wearing a baseball mitt to represent his American nationality. Being American is his top hobby.

Father Balls takes services while wearing a ten gallon cowboy hat and likes to comment on how small everything in the UK is.
Father Eaminn Hogwarty, of the Sacred Heart in Nowden, West Barkshire, is shown coaching a boy's running team known as the Sacred short shorts in February, while March's, Father Neal Boyne, of St Jabob's in Horrowgit, is seen indulging in a copy of celebrity gossip magazine, Heat as he likes the dresses, Vera Wang in his opinion is on equal footing with the Virgin Mary.

Father Boyne is also the prison chaplain at HMP Bealstun, near Wetherup and an avid pole-dancer which he does as an exercise in his own home. He has given in-mates pointers and they have formed their own club that he looks in on every Monday.

Bishop of *Reallytouchyaboutpedosforsomereason*, the Right Reverend Arnold Cockroche, who is featured in 'May' playing a round with the boys on a golf course hopes the calendar will help young men see the human side of the priesthood and not just the perverted child fondling side.

He goes on to say "They come from ordinary families and they have dreams and aspirations as does every young man . They also have worries and concerns. But despite this they offer themselves generously for service in the church forgoing any urges or chances of fun they may normally have ."

Father Darling of West Sussex is shown on the calendar for July dressed in drag and cage fighting, "What young man wouldn't want a life in the priest hood?" he asks as they cut his eye open so he can see. "If I wasn't doing this I'd probably be an arms dealer.

The calendar is on sale at every Catholic church in West Barkshire, priced £4.99. and the proceeds go towards the Middolten Grange Catholic Retreat Centre in Yukley, which provides day and residential retreats for young people where they can relax and interact with members of the priesthood in a safe and secret environment.

Showing the human side of the priesthood it is thought to be a way of undoing the program that Pope John Paul II started and that became his legacy "Every Priest A Pedo Program" that has been criticized by child protection and family groups everywhere and cost the church millions of dollars in lawsuits .

The current Pope Herr Benedict XVI has countered the program with one of his own "No child tight behind" which gives the message that if any priest is caught inferring with a child they shall be excommunicated with extreme prejudice, he refers to it as the "Final solution."
